Parking At Baltimore Washington International Airport

AirportParking.com has you covered if you’re looking for BWI parking options. You can reserve spots at two different outdoor parking lots that are less than three miles to the airport and provide free shuttle service.

On-airport parking is available at the Hourly Garage, which is easily accessed from Interstate 195, and is the only parking location where you can walk to and from the terminal. Express Parking offers the perk of shuttle service directly to and from your parking spot, while the cheapest on-airport parking option is the outdoor Long Term Parking lot with free shuttle service. Additionally, there’s covered parking at the Daily Garage, with a free airport shuttle to provide terminal access.

BWI Airport Guide

As its name implies, Baltimore Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport (BWI) serves both Baltimore and Washington DC. Airport access to Interstate 195 provides easy routing to downtown Baltimore, about 20 minutes away. The city is also accessible via the airport’s light rail station.

BWI might not be as close to downtown Washington DC as National Airport, but it’s not terribly inconvenient. The airport is about an hour’s drive away, depending on location and traffic. BWI’s rail station has MARC commuter rail service during the work week and daily Amtrak service.

Southwest Airlines has been the dominant carrier at Baltimore Washington Airport for years. The airline flies over 150 daily departures to more than 40 cities. Southwest could have an even larger presence at BWI due to its planned acquisition of AirTran. BWI is also served by other major U.S. carriers and some international airlines.

The BWI airport has a few concourses to navigate. You'll find Southwest's fleet of Boeing 737s parking at the connected Concourses A and B. No other airlines use this space. Other domestic air carriers like AirTran (the second-largest at BWI), JetBlue, Delta, Continental, US Airways, United and American Airlines utilize Concourses C and D. Concourse E is only used for international flights from airlines like Air Canada and British Airways.
