DFW has several parking options of its own at the airport as well. The cheapest option for long term parking is in the Remote Parking lot, which has close to 4,800 spaces at the north and south ends of the airport. Continuous shuttle service is provided to all Dallas Fort Worth airport terminals. Terminal Parking has over 28,000 spaces and is located right next to all DFW airport terminals. The free Terminal Link van service provides passengers with lifts between terminals.
Express Parking at the north and south ends of the airport offers free bottled water and newspaper as well as shuttle service to and from terminals, plus pick-up and drop-off at your car. You can also opt to valet park your car at one of the valet stands located at all of the terminals and have your car waiting for you upon your return. There are also parking options available if you stay at one of the on-airport Hyatt hotels.
DFW Airport Guide
The busiest airport in Texas serving nearly 57 million passengers in 2010, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport serves the larger Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. In fact, the airport is so large that it houses not one, but two on-airport hotels for passengers to stay: The Grand Hyatt DFW and the Hyatt Regency DFW.
Access the airport from Highway 114 or I-635 on the north, and Highway 183 on the south. All exits leads to International Parkway, which runs north and south along the length of DFW airport. If you aren’t driving, the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and Fort Worth’s The T offer rail service to DFW Airport via the Trinity Railway Express (TRE). DART has service to the Remote North Parking area via route 310 and route 408. Passengers can also ride the shuttle to and from the airport to the CentrePort/DFW Airport Station Bust Stop
DFW is served by a slew of major airlines in the U.S. in addition to international airlines. However, American Airlines is by far the largest air carrier at the airport and operates its main hub here with flights all across the country. The same goes for its regional affiliate American Eagle.
There are five main terminals at Dallas Fort Worth Airport. To connect to the various terminals, there are two transportation systems. Inside the airport, Skylink has trains running every two minutes to get you from one side of DFW to the other. Terminal Link refers to the blue and green vans, which arrive every 10 minutes from 5am to midnight and take passengers to another terminal outside security.
Terminals A, B and C are used solely by American Airlines and American Eagle for domestic flights. Terminal D is the international terminal, where passengers can board flights with Air Canada, KLM, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Qantas and British Airways, as well as flights from Sun Country. Terminal E hosts other airlines like AirTran Airways, Alaska Airlines, Delta, Frontier, Spirit Airlines, United Continental, US Airways and Virgin America.
