Previously, Continental Airlines used to have a large presence at ELP, providing service to nearby Southwest cities. While Southwest is now the dominant air carrier at El Paso airport, there are plenty of other major carriers like American, Delta, United, and US Airways flying in and out of El Paso from their hubs.
