A courtesy tram will transport you from the lower level of the parking garage to your terminal. For long-term parking at Ft. Lauderdale airport, leave your vehicle at the Airport Economy Parking facility, located less than four miles from the terminals and with free shuttle service to and from the airport to the lot. There is also a cell phone waiting lot if you’re waiting to pick up passengers.

With over 22 million passengers traveling through its terminals in 2010, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, this South Florida airport is growing fast. Located in Fort Lauderdale – only less than an hour north of Miami and close by Hollywood, Florida – it offers nonstop flights to 65 domestic and 36 international cities, including Toronto, Cancun, Montego Bay, and Freeport in the Bahamas.
Whether you’re coming from the north or south, to access the airport, take either the I-95 North or I-95 South to the I-595 East, bear right on U.S. 1 and follow signs for the Airport exit. From the beach, go west on Sunrise Blvd to U.S. 1 and head south. Public bus service to the airport from in and around Fort Lauderdale is also available through Broward County Transit (BCT). Additionally, the Tri-Rail commuter train provides service across Broward County, Miami-Dade County and Palm Beach County, with free shuttle buses from FLL terminals to the airport station at Dania Beach.
There are four terminals at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, with Terminal 4 serving as its international terminal, Terminal 3 being used as the main terminal with two concourses, and Terminals 1 and 2 taking in other domestic flights. While Fort Lauderdale isn’t a hub for any specific airline, Spirit Airlines has the largest pull, using the airport for domestic and international flights. Other major air carriers flying out of Ft.
