The third-busiest airport in Canada by passengers, Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) is located roughly 20 miles away from downtown Montreal on the Island of Montreal. Serving the city of Montreal in Quebec, as well as parts of northern Vermont and New York in the United States, YUL airport saw nearly 13 million passengers pass through its gates in 2010.
YUL airport is conveniently located near multiple highways (13, 20, 40), and is approximately 25 minutes from downtown Montreal. Multiple public bus routes serve the airport, such as the special 747 Express Bus that connects the airport to downtown Montreal, Quebec.
Trudeau airport offers service across the globe from a vast array of airlines. Carriers like Air Canada, Westjet, and Porter fly from Montreal Airport to destinations throughout Canada. In fact, the airport is one of four Air Canada hubs. Transborder service to cities in the United States like Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC is also available from multiple airlines, as well as a slew of international routes to destinations like London, Paris, Istanbul, Casablanca, Brussels, Panama City, Zurich and Frankfurt.
There are three concourses within YUL airport: A, B, and C for domestic, international, and transborder flights, respectively. As such, some airlines operating at the airport will use multiple concourses.
