SNA airport has on-airport parking options available as well. There are four terminal parking structures – A1, A2, B2 and C – which have short and long-term parking. Next to the Thomas F. Riley Terminal, parking structures A1 and A2 are located directly across from Terminal A, while parking structures B2 and C have limited parking on the lower levels. Main Street Parking is Orange County’s economy lot, with courtesy shuttle service to and from the terminal running continuously. Valet parking is also available, as well as the choice to get your car washed with ProntoWash.

John Wayne Airport, located in Orange County, California, serves the entire county as well as nearby cities such as Long Beach. As the only commercial airport in Orange County, however, it really serves major cities such as Newport Beach and Santa Ana. Named after actor John Wayne, the airport saw nearly nine million passengers pass through its gates in 2008. This may be in part because it’s the closest airport to a celebrated Orange County attraction – 14 miles away from the Disneyland Resort.
To reach Orange County airport, take the I-405 or I-55 freeways. Alternate routes are available if you’re coming from the south via the San Joaquin Hills Toll Road SR-73. Those in need of public transportation can take routes 76 and 212 using Orange County Transportation Authority buses. Other private shuttles, including the Disneyland Resort Express, offer rides from SNA to all across Orange County.
The most predominant airlines flying in and out of John Wayne Airport include Southwest, United, Alaska Airlines and American Airlines. Other airlines include Delta, Frontier, US Airways and WestJet. Nonstop destinations include flights to Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, Honolulu, and Mammoth Lakes, as well as international flights to Calgary and Vancouver.
The main passenger terminal is divided into three separate terminal areas. Terminals A and B were recently renovated and refreshed, while Terminal C – which just opened – adds six new gates and a commuter gate area.
