Four of these lots offer covered parking, one which has valet service, while another offers car washing services. Both uncovered and covered on-airport parking options are available at the West and East Economy Parking, Upper Level Economy Parking, and East Economy Garages A & B. All of these lots have a $4 hourly rate, though daily rates vary.
PHX has easy highway access to Interstate 10 and Route 143. For those who are looking to take public transit, there is public bus service as well as a nearby light rail station. Shuttle service runs between the terminals and economy parking areas, as well as to and from the 44th Street and Washington METRO light rail stop. Additionally, there are two cell phone lots for those waiting to pick up passengers.
PHX Airport Guide
Phoenix Sky Harbor serves as a major base of operations for two airlines – US Airways and Southwest Airlines, both of which have extensive operations within the continental United States. US Airways also operates flights to Hawaii, Alaska, and international destinations, including Mexico and Canada.
While Southwest and US Airways are the biggest players in Phoenix, there are many other domestic airlines flying to the city, including AirTran, Alaska, American, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Hawaiian, and JetBlue. International service is offered by Aeromexico, British Airways, Air Canada, and WestJet.
There are three terminals within PHX Airport: Terminal 2, Terminal 3, and Terminal 4. Terminal 2 houses Alaska, Continental, and United (and its partner TED) airlines, while Terminal 3 is where you’ll find AirTran, American, Delta, Frontier, Hawaiian, JetBlue and Sun Country Airlines. Terminal 4 is for international flights and air carriers, as well as Southwest Airlines and US Airways. In order to go from one terminal to the next, you will have to exit the terminal and catch an airport shuttle bus.
