Parking at Portland International Airport

AirportParking.com has you covered for Portland International Airport parking. Reserve a spot at one of two parking lots online, both which make it easy to arrive at PDX airport on time via courtesy shuttles. Both are secure lots, while one offers extra features such as auto services like getting a car wash.

Several parking options are available on-site at Portland Airport. The Long-Term Parking Garage has over 3,000 parking spaces conveniently close to the airport terminal. Passengers are connected from the garage to the terminal via tunnels and moving sidewalks. Another option is the less expensive Economy Lot, with over 7,000 spaces located near I-205 off Airport Way. The parking lot is split into two areas – red and blue – and free shuttles take passengers from the lot to the airport frequently. Valet parking is also available, as well as free parking for motorcycles and bicycles. Moreover, all Portland Airport parking lots offer free jump starts and flat tire assistance. PDX Airport Guide

Portland International Airport (PDX) in Portland, Oregon (just south of the Columbia River) is the largest airport in the state in terms of passenger travel, with over 13 million passengers in 2010 passing through its gates. Additionally, PDX operates as both a civil and military airport, with the Oregon Air National Guard utilizing a base located on grounds.

PDX is roughly 12 miles northeast of downtown Portland. To get to the airport, take I-5 North  or South to the I-84 East or West (depending on the direction you’re coming from) and head for I-205, then exit at Airport Way.  For those that need to use public transportation, the TriMet MAX Red Line light rail service connects those at the airport around Portland and Beaverton. The MAX station is located near baggage claim and takes about 40 minutes to get to downtown Portland. Given that Portland is so bike friendly, there are plenty of options for those that want to bike to the airport. Secure bicycle parking is available at the airport, while a bike repair station is located on the lower terminal level near the TriMet station entrance.

Portland Airport offers direct connections to several major cities including New York City, Chicago, Honolulu, Atlanta, Denver and Anchorage, as well as international destinations like Amsterdam, Vancouver, and Tokyo. The airport acts as a hub for SkyWest Airlines (affiliated with United), flying to smaller cities throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada and California. It’s also a major hub for Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. Other major airlines flying in and out of Portland include Air Canada, Southwest, American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, Frontier, US Airways, United, Hawaiian Airlines, SeaPort and Spirit.

PDX is spilt up into two concourses, which are joined by a passageway and moving sidewalks that allow travelers to move between the south (A, B, and C) and north (D and E) concourse. Concourse A and B are set up for Alaska and Horizon. Concourse C is utilized by US Airways, JetBlue, Southwest, Frontier, and American, while Concourse D is home to Delta, Hawaiian and Spirit. Concourse E covers Air Canada and United (Continental has merged with United).
