Several on-airport parking lots at YYZ airport are available. Pearson’s Daily Park garages are the closest to the terminals, but also more expensive than other options. The Value Park Garage and Value Park Lot are a bit farther from the terminals than some of the other terminals, but are less expensive and are easily connected to the airport by the free LINK Train. Valet service is also available. YYZ Airport Guide One of two Toronto airports serving the largest city in Canada and providing flights for nearly 25 percent of Canada’s population, Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is the busiest airport in the country. Having served nearly 32 million passengers in 2010, it’s no wonder it was chosen as the Best Global Airport by the Institute of Transport Management. The airport has ample air service across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and across the globe. Air Canada operates its largest hub at Pearson, with flights to a wide array of destinations, ranging from Boston to Brussels. Other Canadian airlines with a large presence in Toronto include WestJet and Air Transat, as well as Star Alliance, CanJet and Sunwing Airlines. A large number of international carriers also serve the airport. Toronto International Airport is located near Highways 409 and 427, and is approximately 14 miles from downtown Toronto in Mississauga. Travelers who aren’t interested in driving to the Toronto Airport can use one of the many bus services that operate to the airport, including some operated by the public Toronto Transit Commission, GO Transit, Brampton Transit or MiWay. Pearson Airport features two terminals, including one that has a Sheraton Hotel inside YYZ:
  • Air Canada and its regional partners have the largest presence in Terminal 1. Also operating out of the terminal are many of the airline’s Star Alliance partners, including Lufthansa, United, US Airways. Other carriers using Terminal 1 include Emirates, Etihad, Jet Airways, and Sunwing.
  • Canadian low-cost carrier WestJet operates out of Terminal 3 at Pearson. Other airlines using this terminal include Air France, Air Transat, American, British Airways, Delta, Finnair, KLM, and Korean Air. The Sheraton is also located here.
