Making a Reservation


How does the reservation process work?

We've partnered with select parking lots at major airports across the U.S. to make parking reservations online. (We are adding new partners all the time, so check back the next time you travel, even if you don’t see any lots taking reservations at your airport currently). Our partners guarantee you a space and offer preferred pricing to our customers. After you book your reservation, we transmit your information to the parking lot so they can be prepared for your arrival. We collect a small deposit at the time you make your reservation in order to guarantee your space. Your reservation confirmation will show the total for your reservation, dates and times you selected and will indicate how much you paid.

Do I pay now? Do I pay later?

When you reserve parking on AirportParking.com, we collect a deposit to guarantee your reservation. Your reservation confirmation will show the estimated cost, including taxes and fees, the deposit amount and the amount due at the lot. At the end of your stay with our partner lot, you will owe the “Amount due at lot”, which is equal to the total minus the deposit you paid when you booked your reservation. If the length of your stay changes from when you originally made your reservation, your total will be recalculated upon checkout and your deposit will be applied to the new amount.

Are taxes included in the rates you quote on the site?

The daily rates shown on our site do not include applicable taxes or fees. However, if you book a reservation on our site, we will detail all applicable taxes and fees (rates are set by the lots and are subject to change) during checkout, and will add this amount to your parking total so that you know what you are expected to pay to the parking lot on departure.

What times should I enter for arrival and departure?

Please enter the times you plan to arrive and depart from the parking lot, not your flight departure and arrival times. You should plan to arrive at the parking lot 15 - 20 minutes before you want to arrive at the airport terminal (most airlines recommend arriving between 1 and 2 hours prior to your scheduled flight). All lots accepting reservations on AirportParking.com have regular, free shuttles to the airport terminals. Select a departure time that will allow you to pick up any checked baggage and catch a shuttle back to the parking lot – 30 to 40 minutes from the time your flight lands is sufficient in most cases.

Can I make a reservation for someone else?

Yes. When making the reservation, we will ask you to enter the full name of the person travelling. You will also be asked for an email address; this is the email address where we will send the reservation confirmation; in most cases, this should be the email address of the person travelling

What should I do if I can’t print my reservation confirmation?

Your reservation confirmation serves as proof of your reservation and your pre-paid deposit. It is important to have this information available when you check-out of the parking lot to ensure the special AirportParking.com rate. In addition to the on-screen reservation confirmation, you should receive email confirmation immediately after booking your reservation. You can print either of these. If you are unable to print, you can also request a faxed copy of your confirmation. Follow the link in your e-mail confirmation to view your reservation. From there, press the button “Send as Fax” and enter your fax number. Additionally, if you created an account when making your reservation, you can go to your user profile to see all of your reservations and print a confirmation. When you are logged in, click on your username in the top right corner of any page to get to your “User Profile.” Your upcoming reservations are listed at the top of the page. Simply click on “Print Receipt” to see a summary of your reservation, and then choose “Print this Page” or “Send as Fax.” If you have a mobile device such as a Blackberry or iPhone, you may be able to show your e-mail confirmation to the lot attendant electronically. In addition, many lots will be able to look up your reservation confirmation number if you have that available. If you need further assistance, please contact us.

What should I do if I don’t receive an email confirming my reservation?

You should receive email confirmation immediately after completing your reservation. You may want to check your spam or bulk mail folder to ensure that your confirmation email was not inadvertently flagged as spam. If you do not receive the confirmation email and you created an account when making your reservation, you can go to your “User Profile” to see all of your reservations and print a confirmation. When you are logged in, click on your username in the top right corner of any page to get to your “User Profile”. Your upcoming reservations are listed in the first section of the page. Choose “Print Receipt” to see a summary of your reservation, and then click “Print this Page”. If you did not register, or if you need further assistance, please contact us.

Parking at a Partner Lot


Do I need to bring my receipt?

Yes. The parking lot will need your receipt to confirm the parking rate and the deposit you paid. If you do not bring a printed receipt, the lot may not honor the discounted parking rate offered on AirportParking.com, and you will not receive credit for the deposit you paid when booking the reservation. If you have trouble printing your confirmation or did not receive a confirmation email, please see “What should I do if I can’t print my reservation confirmation?”, or contact us.

Are parking lots open 24 hours?

Almost all parking lots are open 24 hours. Those that are not will generally meet all flights unless otherwise stated on your confirmation. If your return flight arrives very late or very early, you should call the lot after you land to confirm that their shuttles are still running, or to request a pickup. The phone number for the lot will be located on your reservation confirmation.

How do I get to and from the airport terminal?

All AirportParking.com partner lots have regular, free shuttles to the airport terminals. Shuttles typically run every 10-15 minutes, but frequency varies by lot, so please refer to the shuttle information for your parking lot of choice. Upon your return, follow the signs to Ground Transportation and look for the pickup area for parking shuttles. At some airports (or if your flight arrives very late or very early) you may need to call the parking lot to request a pickup. The lot phone number can be found on your parking confirmation.

Are parking lots secure?

Lots are typically fenced, well-lit and have 24 hour security. One of the advantages of using AirportParking.com is to be able to see what other customers have to say about a parking facility. You can always call the parking lot directly to find out what your selected lot does to ensure the safety of your car.

Changing or Cancelling a Reservation


What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations can be cancelled or changed up to 24 hours in advance. If you created an account when making your reservation, you can go to your “User Profile” to cancel an upcoming reservation. When you are logged in, click on your username in the top right corner of any page to get to your User Profile. Your upcoming reservations are listed at the top of the page. Simply click on “Cancel” next to the reservation that you want to cancel. If it is at least 24 hours before your scheduled arrival, your reservation will be cancelled and your deposit will be credited back to your credit card. What if my itinerary changes after I start my trip?

No problem. If you return later or earlier than expected, it will not affect the deposit amount you paid online. The lot will re-calculate the total amount due based on your actual arrival and departure times.

Where do you get your information?

The information on our site has been collected by our research team, and is frequently updated. Our partner lots offer our customers their best prices; the AirportParking.com rates reflect a special discount compared to the lots’ standard “drive up” rate. Our team has worked diligently to list all available parking lots, and to collect accurate information on each lot listed. However, we cover over 500 lots so it can be a challenge to keep up with every lot listed. Reviews and ratings are submitted by our visitors.

Where do the ratings on your site come from?

Anyone who has used a parking lot listed in our directory can submit a review. We request an email address from reviewers, and we do ask that reviewers only submit ratings and comments for lots they’ve actually parked at. We do our best to verify the authenticity of the reviews that are submitted before posting them to the site. In addition, we have a number of safeguards in place to monitor for fake or duplicate reviews.

My lot isn't listed on your site. How do I add it?

We aim to have complete coverage of all lots. If we are missing your lot, please send us the name, address, phone number and standard pricing (i.e. drive-up, non-couponed) via our contact form.

We happily accept additional information about your lot including descriptions, FAQs, payment information and photos. You are not allowed to promote other sites, just provide information to our visitors. Send this information through our contact form.
